March 24 - 25 FHFA FHLBank Regulatory Developments via Social Media

On March 24, 2025, Director Pulte rescinded AB-2024-06 on Unfair and Deceptive Acts or Practices Compliance via "X", formerly known as Twitter. Accordingly, the guidance under this AB is no longer applicable to the FHLBanks.

On March 25, 2025 Director Pulte has tweeted two developments applicable to the Enterprises that I would expect provide a window into the future for the FHLBanks. Director Pulte has

1. rescinded the AB on climate-related risk management for the Enterprises; and

2. provided a waiver to the Equitable Housing Finance Plan obligation under the Fair Lending Rule.
